Life as a published author is exciting. For a week after recieving my contract, I was in shock. I couldn't believe it. Now I wonder. How does a published author find the time to write new stories.
I've been busy getting my name out there by joining writing groups, trying my hand at blogging, and setting up a website. I've been busying revising other stories and working in my critique groups that I really haven't found the time to sit down and write. To really listen to those voices in my head. Yes, my characters talk to me all the time, telling me their stories. Revising is fun. I like seeing how the story changes usually for the better.
But I miss just sitting down at the computer and typing whatever pops into my head. I need to take the time to do that. To take the time to really write. To take the time to listen to my characters tell me
